What data we process
This website does not create user accounts, does not use first- or third-party cookies and does not include advertising. Fonts and video are served from our own hosting.
- Technical browsing data. Like any web server, the hosting provider automatically logs technical data about each visit (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) for security and service operation purposes.
- Visit statistics. We use Umami Cloud, a statistics tool that does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not identify visitors. It tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, from which country and type of device, and from which website visitors arrive. The data is hosted in the European Union.
- Application form. If you submit the “How to apply” form, we process the organization’s details (name, country, type, sector, website and summary) and the contact person’s details (name, position, email and phone) to evaluate the application, inform you of the result and, where applicable, manage your participation in the Business Management Awards. The data is sent by email to our team and a copy is stored on our hosting provider’s server.
- LinkedIn forms. If you leave your details in a form on a LinkedIn ad, we process your name, job title, company, email, phone number and preferred contact method solely to contact you about the Business Management Awards and, where applicable, to manage your participation.
- Data you send us. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we will process the data you provide (name, company, contact details and message content) solely to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to manage your relationship with us.
Third-party services
Links to WhatsApp and Facebook take you to services operated by Meta Platforms, which process your data under their own privacy policies. The link to LinkedIn and the forms on its ads are LinkedIn services, subject to its own privacy policy.
Retention
We keep applications and messages for as long as needed to evaluate them or handle your inquiry and, where applicable, for the duration of the business relationship and any applicable legal periods.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contacto@gbc-us.com.
